Dr. Blum's research interests include financial viability of investing in liquid renewable energy fuels such as algae biodiesel, reducing macroeconomic uncertainty in venture capital investing, gender disparity in venture capital management, strategies to increase success ratio of venture capital exists, and valuation of capital budgeting investment projects using real options theory. Dr. Blum is the co-author of Real Life Real Investing and How to Collect Rent: Adventures in Property Management.
