Although care is a critical component of human life, it has remained on the margins of higher education and theory, heightening unequal relations along gender, race, and class lines. LINDSAY NAYLOR is a feminist political geographer and the author of the award-winning book Fair Trade Rebels: Coffee Production and Struggles for Autonomy in Chiapas. She is a cofacilitator of the Embodiment Lab in the Department of Geography and Spatial Sciences at the University of Delaware.
