That path is the same one leading to reconciliation or healing of family estrangement. This book recognizes the pain of estrangement and looks to scripture for God's example of coping with the pain and building a productive grateful life in His presence, "I will be their God and they will be My people and I will dwell among them." God is faithful and Christ is sufficient even in the greatest loss.
