About this item

by David Paul Holmstrom (Author)

Life in Erie, PA's Fourth Ward during the 1940s and 1950s reflected pretty much the way the country was in general. This book is about those times.

Author Biography

Born in Erie, PA in 1940 Mr. Holmstrom grew up in an era where the country was just coming out of a deep economic depression and heading into a world war. He felt a need to write about life in those times, the family, the neighborhood, the people. The way he remembered those times. Not something you would find in your history books.
