Cindy feels alone and miserable after getting married and starting a new life with her husband, who is never home. She decides to step outside of her marriage and finds comfort in the arms of her farmhand Anthony, whom her husband hired. One day she wakes up in the hospital with a brain injury, unsure of how she got there. Her husband does not know who Anthony is when Cindy asks about him.
