by Noah E. Evslin (Author)
Rupert the Plain-Nosed Reindeer is a heartwarming, rhyming picture book that reimagines the world of Santa's reindeer through the eyes of Rupert... a plain-nosed, overlooked reindeer living in Rudolph's shadow.
Years ago, a dense fog bank caused Rupert to crash Santa's sleigh into the North Pole, and ever since, Rudolph has led the sleigh while Rupert stayed home in quiet regret. But on a now clear Christmas Eve, chaos strikes again... Santa accidentally flies off with the wrong list, leaving all the newly "nice" children about to wake up to empty stockings.
Mrs. Claus rushes to Rupert's door in a panic as he's the only reindeer left who can help. Together, they embark on a wild, joyous flight across the night sky-Mrs. Claus riding bareback, Rupert steering by instinct and heart. Against all odds, they deliver every last present before dawn.
By morning, Rupert has redeemed himself-not through magic or fame, but through courage, teamwork, and love. Santa declares that Rupert and Rudolph will share the lead from now on, but Rupert politely declines; he's found a new way to fly. Moral of the story? You don't need to be born special to do something great.
