About this item

by Teddy M. Clark (Author)

IT WAS A TERRIFYING PLACE TO BE...

This was a hellish, post WWII Belgian Congo. In the midst of a raging civil war and surrounded by suffering and inhumane cruelty, this is where Mae Pearl Clark found herself on a daunting mission to rescue indigenous orphaned children from hunger, hopelessness and certain death.THIS WAS HER CALLING THIS IS HER AMAZING TRUE STORY "A breathtaking story into the sorrow and beauty of total abandon to the call of Jesus. Mae's reckless love calls the bluff to those that refer to Jesus as their Lord with only a fraction of the resolve to answer his call. Don't read this if you want to feel comfortable. But If you want to be stirred and challenged, then you will experience both full joy and heartache that awaits anyone who draws near to God's heart through adoption and by loving orphans."MARGUERITE REEVECo-Founder, Faith Church West Covina, CA
