Author Biography
Yogi Ramacharaka was the pseudonym of a 19th century author and pioneer of the New Thought movement by the name of William Walker Atkinson. Atkinson claims to have been the student of an Indian mystic named Yogi Ramacharaka (1799 - 1893). Though this has never been independently verified, there is no doubt that Atkinson was a devoted student of Yoga. Over the course of his life, he wrote many books on the topic of Yoga as it pertains to health, spirituality and mental development.
